Series 5 # 4

This work is part of a series (series 5) in which the paint is applied with various trowels and brushes. I apply multiple layers over time, and scrape back the paint to create different textures and surfaces, adding another dimension to the work.

It has been painted using Artist Quality Acrylic paint on a Professional Quality stretched cotton canvas with a matt protective varnish applied.

The work is signed and dated on the back.

The sides have been painted, so no frame is necessary, although it would also look great in a simple floating frame.
